XLNT’s Beef Tamales are a perfect choice, combining delicious Mexican food in a convenient snack size. Each pocket of savory, seasoned beef is surrounded by classic masa harina dough made of stone-ground corn with a hint of lime. At 3 ounces each, you can enjoy one or two as a snack or many more as part of a full meal. Each box has five bags of six beef tamales featuring classic Mexican flavors. The bonus with these snack-sized beef tamales is that you can prepare them three ways. You can bake them in a conventional oven. Steam a couple in a sieve or colander on your stovetop. You can also microwave individual tamales in the included wrapper. Frozen or thawed, deliciousness is no more than a half-hour away. When you or your family need some light bites, our 5-pack has 30 handmade tamales for your snacking pleasure.  

• 100% USDA-inspected ground beef, flavored with ingredients like onion and carrot

• At three ounces, each tamale sized for snacking

• Wrapped in stone-ground corn dough seasoned with lime, salt, and chili pepper

• Cooked tamales ready in 30 minutes or less

Stovetop: Steam wrapped tamales in covered colander or sieve over boiling water for approximately 25 minutes if thawed; 30 minutes if frozen. Do not place tamales directly in water.

Microwave: Remove from bag, place tamale with unopened plastic wrapper on microwave-safe dish and heat on MEDIUM for 2 minutes if thawed; 4 minutes if frozen. Remove Plastic wrapper. Preparation time may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave.

Conventional Oven: Remove from bag and unwrap. Place tamales in casserole dish with 1-2 tablespoons of water. Cover and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes if thawed; 30 minutes if frozen. May also be heated in foil, omitting water.

Filling: Beef, Water, Cereal, (Enriched Flour [Bleached Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate Riboflavin, Folic Acid], Cracked Wheat) Carrots, Flavorings, Salt, Dehydrated Onions, Monosodium Glutamate. MASA: Water, Stone Ground Corn with Trace of Lime, Shortening (Beef Fat, Cottonseed Oil and/or Soybean Oil), Salt, Chili Pepper. Contains: Soy and Wheat.

At XLNT Foods, shipping your Tamales and Chili Con Carne safely, and maintaining their quality, is paramount to us. Shipments are processed and shipped on Mondays, with occasional shipping on Tuesdays when Monday falls on a holiday. XLNT does not process shipments Wednesday through Sunday and cannot deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

Weekly Shipping Cutoff Time: All orders placed after 12 PM PST on Fridays will be shipped a week from the following Monday.

To help ensure your Tamales and Chili Con Carne arrive in optimal condition, each order is hand-packed and shipped using a 100% recyclable and compostable insulated liner that can be recycled alongside the corrugated box. In addition, we include dry ice and specially designed cold packs to ensure that your product is received cold to the touch and re-freezable.

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order has shipped, you will get an email with your tracking code and can track the package simply by clicking the tracking number within the email.

SHIPPING RATES

XLNT Foods currently ships exclusively with UPS. Two Day shipping is offered during the warmer summer months, and Three Day Select is offered during the cooler winter months. Total days to deliver is based on Zones, Seasons, and is typically within two to three days after shipped. See Shipping Maps for detailed shipping rates.

SHIPPING CARRIERS

We currently ship exclusively with UPS to offer you the best rates. On the day your order ships, you will receive an email with your package's tracking number. We deliver within the United States with the exception of Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam and other U.S. territories. At this time, we are unable to process international orders. We do not deliver to the post office or APO/FBO boxes.

XLNT Foods Shipping Days

In order to ensure you the best delivery experience, we only ship on Mondays with occasional shipping on Tuesdays (usually due to holiday schedules).

For your order to be shipped out on Monday or Tuesday of the current week, you MUST have your order placed before 12 PM PST on Friday of the prior week. All orders placed after 12 PM PST on Fridays will be shipped out the following week on Monday (10 days later).

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING NOTES

XLNT Foods makes every attempt to fulfill orders based on our customer’s requested ship date; however, holidays and unforeseen circumstances can force exceptions to delivery. Below are important shipping notes to keep in mind when placing your order.

• All shipments require a street address.

• At this time we do not ship to P.O. Boxes

• XLNT Foods is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses. Please be sure to double-check addresses.

• Inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances can cause shipments to be delayed.

• XLNT Foods is not responsible for shipment delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions.

• Our Tamales and Chili Con Carne may arrive partially frozen or cool to the touch – in either case it is fine to refreeze it as long as it is refrigerator temperature.

• We apologize at this time we cannot ship to multiple addresses on an order. Each address will need to be filled out on an individual order

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Due to the nature of our product, we are not able to take returns back into our shipment facility.
